United Technologies Research Center (China) Ltd. invites qualified individuals to apply for the following position in the Shanghai office. This position will compensate the chosen candidate at the local Shanghai market wage rate, and benefits will be administered based on local Shanghai benefit practices.
Computational Fluid Dynamics: CFD Analyst
Job Requirements:
Fundamental knowledge of contemporary CFD techniques and familiarity with the process of CFD analysis and its design applications.
· Solid back ground in fluid dynamics with advanced knowledge in at least one of the following areas: gas dynamics, turbulence models, combustion, acoustics, or heat transfer.
· Good understanding of flow physics and experiences in resolving common CFD numerical issues.
· Provide timely, accurate and detailed reports and presentations
Preferred Candidates will possess the following:
· Master or Ph.D in mechanical/aerospace engineering or a related area.
· 0-5 years experience in CFD applications.
· Knowledge of flow visualizations and design optimization.
· Experience with first-time application with CFD
· Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in both China and USA
· Fluent English (both written and spoken) and excellent communication skills
