Our client:A world leading company in Powertrain Systems, with internal combustion engines as well as Engine Instrumentation and Test Systems. It is also a competent partner to the engine and automotive industry. We are looking for strong profile candidates for our client. The job is open in Shanghai and Beijing.
Senior CAE Engineer – Thermodynamics/CFD
Main Responsibilities:
•Engine simulations using AVL software tools in one or a number of following areas:
Gas exchange and thermodynamic analysis of IC engines
CFD of water jacket coolant flow
CFD of intake and exhaust systems
CFD of in-cylinder flow
Simulation of after - treatments
Technical report writing in English
Preparation of technical presentations
Presentations in English and Chinese in front of customers
Project related liaison with customers
Training of client engineers
Sales support
Development of new simulation methodologies and procedures
Support of other activities within AVL as required
Qualification:
Location: Shanghai
1.Minimum of Bachelor’s degree, Engine Engineering preferred
2.Minimum 4 years senior position experience in engine simulation
3.AVL BOOST/FIRE usage/experience preferred
4.Experience with other software tools such as WAVE, GT-POWER, FLUENT, and STAR-CD also considered
5.Strong background and deep knowledge of principles of internal combustion engines (gasoline and diesel), especially in the areas of gas exchange, thermodynamics, combustion and engine cooling
6.Pro-active, enthusiastic, good natured and self-motivated
7.Good command of English & Chinese languages both speaking and writing
8.Excellent computing skills
9.Good presentation and communication skills in both English and Chinese
10.Able to work under pressure
11.Able to deliver quality results under time constraint
