我现在在做可压缩,正在学习木头兄他们课题组的耦合双分布函数模型,算过圆柱和翼型绕流算例,还存在许多问题。

你也看了不少文章了吧,基本上就那么几家,,,呵呵,而且有的大牛不看好这个方向,但钱老师却也开始搞了。

本人是LBM的新人,看了好多文章,说LBM不能算可压缩流动,但是也有不少人在计算压缩流,甚至是激波。请问LBM到底能不能计算可压缩流动呢?谢谢

It depends what you meant by "compressible flows". If it means low-speed flows with variable density, then the answer is YES. However, for high-speed flows with shocks, the answer is NO, for the following reasons:

1) the low-Mach-number intrinsic to the LBE;
2) a finite and very small discrete velocity set.

Even if the LBE can be modified to simulate high-speed flows in some cases, one must ask the following questions:

a) Is the LBE accurate for high-speed flows?
b) is the LBE efficient for high-speed flows?
c) what are the advantages of the LBE over existing methods for high-speed flows?

Based on my experience, the answers to above questions are NEGATIVE. It does not matter how many people who say what; what is important is if these people can articulate their arguments with reasons and solid evidence. I have seen none so far.
