REPORTS TO: Global Engineering VP
SUMMARY: Under minimal supervision, perform a variety of engineering work in designing, planning and testing of company-produced systems. May assist with customer and in-house training and project coordination.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
Design reviews, carry out valve design, optimization, other control products design. Review, develop and prepare project documentation following standards, practices, and using engineering tools as recommended by governing department.

Communicate with customers, third-party project representative, and other company departments to meet assigned project requirements and schedule.

Configure product database, review system drawing, develop test procedures and conduct system test 20 %
Evaluate the engineering integrity of components. Coordinate assigned projects with technical and administrative personnel 10 %
Assist in the development of control strategies and software requirements 5 %
Travel to customer site (international or office for project meeting, site survey, training, startups) 5 %
Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements :
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
B.S. in Engineering, preferable with Mechnical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering degree. Master Degree in Engineering is an advantage.
Must be/have recent 5 years experience in Gate or Butterfly Valve design, with pneumatic and electronic valve actuation design experience is an advantage.
Knowledge of internal combusion engine operating criteria, thermodynamics is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
Proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office products
Skilled with 3D CAD, Finite Element Analysis & Fluid Dynamics Modeling
Language Skills:
Ability to read, write scientific and technical journals, reports. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal, external customers. Ability to effectively present information to management team.
Fluency in both oral and written English is required.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
