Computational Fluid Dynamics: CFD Application Engineer
Job Requirements:
- Fundamental knowledge of contemporary CFD techniques and familiarity with the process of CFD analysis and its design applications.
- Solid back ground in fluid dynamics with advanced knowledge in at least one of the following areas: aerodynamics, turbulence models, combustion, acoustics, or heat transfer.
- Strong expertise in using commercial CFD tools including geometry modeling, grid generation and post-processing.
- Provide timely, accurate and detailed reports and presentations
Preferred Candidates will possess the following:
- Fluent English (both written and spoken) and excellent communication skills
1. Working Year: 2-5 years experience in aerodynamic area.
Experience in CD-Adapco is favorable. (Automobile industry is also okay)
2. Education: Master or PhD in mechanical/aerospace engineering or a related area.
3. Personality: Open mind, aggressive, self motivated, high confidence
4. Know-How: Knowledge of flow visualizations and design optimization; In-depth knowledge of turbo machinery.
5. Others: Fluent in English; Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in both China and USA

Senior Research Engineer: Two-Phase Flow Dynamic Modeling
Job Description:
1. Evaluate and develop liquid and vapor two-phase flow heat transfer and pressure drop and flow pattern prediction models based on understanding of the phenomena
2. Provide expertise in heat transfer, thermodynamics and thermal management systems analysis.
3. Control-oriented thermo-fluid system dynamic modeling, including physics-based model development, model calibration, model validation and analyses.
Preferred Qualification:
1. MS or Ph.D. in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering with 4 years of professional experience.
2. Expertise in model development software tools like Dymola, Matlab/Simulink.
3. Expertise in scientific computation, especially differential-algebraic equation systems
4. Experience in thermo-fluid system control development and system dynamics analyses
5. Demonstrated ability to lead and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
6. Solid technical writing, presentation, project management and communication skills.
7. Strong leadership skills and an entrepreneurial attitude towards innovation.

Senior Research Engineer: Structure Analysis (FEA)
Job Description:
1. Provide expertise in nonlinear contact, structure dynamics and explicit impact analysis, fluid-structure interaction analysis.
2. Identify and develop new opportunities with UTC business units focused on new technology validation and product development.
Requirement
1. Working Year: 0-3 year experience, preferred with 4 years of professional experience; Experience of FSI (Fluid Structure Interaction) modeling.
2. Education: Ph.D. in Mechanical or Engineering Mechanics
3. Know-How : Be familiar with ANSYS and ABAQUS, good at APDL, Knowledge on fluid dynamics; Thermal analysis experience; Capable of analyzing and interpreting large amount of complex data, and synthesizing/distilling the data to succinct conclusions
4. Others: Fluent in English, Solid technical writing, presentation, project management and communication skills; Basic knowledge of fluid dynamics and heat transfer is desired.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
1. MS or PhD degree in Engineering Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering with 0-3 year experience.
2. Fluent English (both written and spoken) and excellent communication skills.
3. Finite element modeling experience of contact and dynamic analysis.
4. Be familiar with ANSYS and ABAQUS, good at APDL.
5. Basic knowledge of fluid dynamics and heat transfer is desired.
6. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
