1.CT – GAS TURBINE OPEN POSITION 2: RESEARCH SCIENTIST FOR
STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY (FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS)

有限元分析-科学家

Experience Requirements:

•        Advanced knowledge of 2D and 3D FE modeling and calculation of axial symmetric components (contact modeling, transient calculation, transient boundary conditions)
•        Advanced knowledge of LCF analysis
•        Optimization of 2D contours due to centrifugal load and transient thermal load
•        Basic knowledge in Turbomachinery/ Turbo Machine Design
•        Experience in using ANSYS Version 11.2
•        Knowledge and experience in combustion turbine design is a plus
•        Minimum of  5 years work experience
•        Chinese and English language skills are essential. Fluent English in reading and writing. Presentation skills are highly desirable.
•        Strong interpersonal skills to work with multi-cultural colleagues, customers, industry experts, and university associates.

Essential Job Functions:

•        Collaborate with colleagues from internal Siemens and also partners outside of Siemens to carry out work in the area of  mechanical analysis for  rotor design and related manufacturing process
•        Conduct/support the engineering work at Siemens Gas Turbine Parts Ltd., Shanghai
•        Benchmark low-cost materials and adapt designs to low cost materials
•        Develop ways to further reduce cost
•        Develop innovations to improve the manufacturing process to enhance the quality with fast turnaround time
•        As the nucleus to recruit and train engineering team members


Educational Requirements:

•        Master degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Material Science and Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering.  

2.CT – GAS TURBINE OPEN POSITION 1:
PROJECT MANAGER AND MECHANICAL DESIGN/ MODELLER
燃汽轮机项目经理及机械设计
Experience Requirements:

•        Background in rotating machinery encompassing a technical competence in the mechanical engineering/or fracture mechanics disciplines/materials technologies associated with combustion turbine parts design,  familiarity with related manufacturing process
•        Basic knowledge in mechanical integrity
•        Advanced 3D modeling techniques
•        Advanced knowledge of tolerance concepts
•        Advanced knowledge of mechanical design
•        Advanced knowledge of Design To X (like Design To Cost or Design to Manufacture)
•        Advanced knowledge in Turbomachinery/ turbo machine design,knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures are a plus
•        Experience in using Pro/Engineer Version Wildfire 3, and Pro/Intralink
•        R&D team and project management skills, more than 5 years working experience in combustion turbine area
•        Chinese and English language skills are essential. Fluent English in reading and writing. Presentation skills are highly desirable.
