在氧化剂为空气的情况下，stoichiometric就是燃烧过量空气系数等于1的条件，这个条件下的空燃比叫理论空燃比，也就是按燃料完全燃烧所需空气量（也叫理论空气量）混合时的混合分数。如果已知燃料分子式，可用化学反应方程式计算。如果已知燃料理论空燃比，那燃料的stoichiometric mixture fraction就是其倒数。
