We are seeking a  PhD candidate to work at pore scale simulation of multi-physical coupled fluid dynamics in porous media by using LBM. This PhD project is based on our existing code and work with the others towards multi-scale analysis of deep underground engineering issues (deep mining, unconventional gas, CO2 sequestration and geothermal ...). Students with a strong background in mechanics, geophysics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field are strongly encouraged to apply!
