The 16th ASCE Engineering Mechanics Conference consisted of 59 technical sessions and 284 presentations. These sessions represented the committees of the Engineering Mechanics Division. The papers span a broad range of topics in traditional and emerging areas in the modeling and simulation of civil and environmental infrastructure systems. All together, the papers demonstrate vigorous research activity that bodes well for the discipline.
