There are indeed many publications, especially those written by experts from Exa Corp., which claim explicitly and unambiguously that one of the important advantages of the LBE is that CFL = dx/dt =1, thus it is most efficient. Once I was asking an big-shot from Exa why it is so and expressed my doubt, the answer was direct: "You are not an expert, and you don't know what you are talking about -- the CFL number in the LBE is equal to 1, period." I had no choice but to retread.
Now, to those new comers. It is important that you should not take the words of those experts in their face value. This is science. You should ask questions and find answers yourself. Just one more thing -- stick to common sense. Do not believe in miracles.
