Dear HelloLegend,

You must use the so-call multiple-relaxation-time (MRT) or at least two-relaxation-time (TRT) model. This can be rigorously shown by solving the Poiseuille (channel) flow analytically. The first reference on this (analytic solution) is by Ginzburg and Adler, J. Phys. II (1994). There are two papers with my name on them, which are related to this matter:

C. Pan, L.-S. Luo, and C.T. Miller.
An evaluation of lattice Boltzmann schemes for porous medium flow simulation.
Computers & Fluids 35(8/9):898-909 (September, 2006).

F. Verhaeghe, L.-S. Luo, and B. Blanpain.
Lattice Boltzmann modeling of microchannel flow in slip flow regime.
Journal of Computational Physics 228(1):147-157 (January, 2009).
