This is a senior position within Wheel & Aero Group of Honeywell Turbo Technologies located at R&D centre of Honeywell Technology Solutions (China) in Pudong, Shanghai. Turbocharger is a key component of modern internal combustion engine power trains, and plays a critical role in reducing engine emission and improving engine fuel economy. Honeywell is the world largest turbocharger OEM for passenger cars and commercial vehicles with worldwide presentation. Its Shanghai R&D centre provides supports to global as well as local business and product developments.
Work within a young yet dynamic team, and candidate is expected to pay a key role in developing aerodynamics for turbochargers, in providing aero support to other groups locally, and to eventually design major components of turbochargers.

Description:
•Aerodynamic and mechanical design of turbocharger compressors and turbines
•Carry out CFD analyses of flows in compressors, turbines, and associated components
•Carry out compressor and turbine performance predictions
•Support Aero performance test if needed
•Support mechanical analysis of wheel to balance Aero and mechanical design if needed
•Methodology investigation and improvement of CFD tools if needed

Qualifications:
•Familiar with CFD code such as Fluent, NUMECA, StarCD, CFX, ICEM CFD, etc.
•Familiar with one kind of 3D modeling CAD code such as CATIA, ProE, UG, etc.
•Familiar with ANSYS or other CAE software desirable
•Turbomachinery design experience desirable
&#8226C skills are required especially Microsoft Office & VBA.
•Master's degree in turbomachinery aerodynamics-related subject desirable
•Good general understanding of turbomachinery, internal combustion engines, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
•Good communicator in both oral and writing
•Team player & Commitment
•Fluent in both English and Mandarin
•Use DFSS tools•
