CFD Analysis
MS or PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace or Chemical Engineering. A minimum of 3 years experience performing high end Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for complex geometries and physical systems is required. Prefer 5 years or more experience.
ØExperience using STAR-CD or CFX required
ØExperience with a commercial mesh generator (ICEM, Gridgen, etc) required
ØExperience in the Turbomachinery industry preferred.
ØExperience with the following types of analysis required
oCompressible and incompressible flows
oConjugate heat transfer analysis
oWall integration turbulence models
ØExperience with the following types of analysis preferred
oReacting flows
oSingle and multiple rotational reference frames modeling of Turbomachinery blade rows and stages.
oLow emissions combustion modeling
oMulti-phase flow analysis
§Langragian spray analysis
§Free surface flow
§Eulerian multi-phase flow
oRadiation modeling
