水泵最小流量管线的用途到底是什么？以前听说过是为了防止气蚀的。是这么回事吗？流量小了也会气蚀？！

流量小了may also cause气蚀.

那是什么原因引起的气蚀？！气蚀不是由于在低压区产生的闪发蒸汽在高压区迅速破裂而产生的吗？怎么流量少也会气蚀啊？！

因为泵还在高速旋转。泵的运动会造成局部低压区

It depends on your specific case. However in principle, change of flow rate will cause change of flow speed, and change of flow speed will cause change of pressure distribution. Therefore the location and magnitude of low pressure region may change.
Another issue is when flow rate goes down, torque may go up too. Think about when pump started, you need bigger torque to drive the blade.
