How to use GAMBIT to make a 2D Mesh??

I use CATIA draw a 2D Iges picture.
Put it into GAMBIT.
I can make eage mesh, but I can';t make face mesh.
Why??
Could someone tell me what';s wrong??

When you import 2D Iges file into gambit, some geometric information will be lost. You can use the eage to make face, then mesh the face.
