Applications are invited for a three-year research studentship (starting from
Sept/Oct 2007). The work will be on computational modelling development for
efficient and accurate predictions of unsteady aerodynamic and heat transfer
performance. The student is expected to carry out the research project,
leading to Ph.D. degree at the School of Engineering, University of Durham. The
studentship will cover the university fees and living maintenance.
The candidates should have a good honours degree (first class or top upper 2nd
class)in Engineering, Physics or Applied Mathematics. A M.Sc. degree in a fluid
dynamics related subject will be an advantage.
