关于离散格式的选择

请问在什么情况下采用一阶迎风格式,什么情况下采用二阶迎风格式?
两者有何区别?

关于离散格式的选择

Solutions obtained from second order upwind schemes is much more accurate than
the ones from first order upwind. It is better always to use second order upwind
schemes. However, in cases where you can not get solutions or you want a rapid estimate of your solutions(for example for generating better meshes), you may use first order upwinding. When you use it, you need to keep in mind that your solution is not accurate. You can even use third order upwinding. Often you will get convergence trouble. Try to avoid third order. Second order is good enough in most  applications.

Power law and Quick are two different schemes for discretization. There are accuracy and computing speed differences. You need to read the manuals to know the advantages and disadvantages of the two schemes.
