gambit2.4在64位windows7下超级慢!

Xeon5680，2cpu12核，3.33GHZ主频，12G内存，Quadro FX580显卡。gambit界面下，点击任意一个菜单，菜单刚出现时呈现假死状态（界面灰白，无字），大概一两秒后才会出现完整界面，32位windows xp下，老机器无论cpu和显卡配置都比新机器差的多，却不存在假死问题，立即就能显示完整界面，按说我的机器配置绝对不算差，哪位同志遇到过这种情况？

I am facing the same problem too.
I am using running at AMD phenom II X6 1090T with 8gb ram and Nvidia GT240.

we are in the same boat！apparently，it is an unacceptable bug for 64 bit windows.

我转发一下高手的解决方案：
右击Exceed--->Tools--->Configuration--->Diaplay&Video--->Window Mode
把默认的Multiple改为“Single”

本人成功实践！解决问题！

windows7下的exceed2008，右键单击没发现你所说的选项，在开始菜单的exceed tools里面，Xconfig里面设置。设置好以后，假死是不存在了，背景色砂纸一样，超级难看，所谓鱼和熊掌不可兼得。

I found it. Actually you cant find this is because of Window 7. You need to point into the exceed at taskbar and then it will pop up another icon under exceed, then you can right click at the new pop out icon there to go for configuration.

显示出来了，gambit界面周围多了一圈砂纸样的边框，画网格的时候晃的眼花，我两台机子都是这效果啊。如图：

嗯！我也是只能这个效果了！而且鼠标的形状显示是个“X”！
不过速度问题解决了！
期待高手再来改进！

XP下使用正常。BTW，你们发现2.4与2.3相比有什么不同吗？

应该是EXEED里config里把屏幕的长宽设置一下就行了

New Features in GAMBIT 2.4
Gambit 2.4 continues to expand on geometry operations with a new face-offset function to allow volumes with finite thickness to be created more easily. Real face- and volume-splits are enhanced to include a split-by-location option. A tolerant option has been introduced to Boolean operations. A new partial-sliver-face removal feature further strengthens the suite of Gambit cleanup tools.

In the area of meshing, prism layers are now smoother, linked meshes are easier to manipulate, and size function- and edge-meshing more exact. For example, copy-linked meshes can now be connected for easy conversion from periodic to full domain setup. Gambit also makes use of the new TGrid technology for improved tetrahedral meshing quality and stability.

上面是官网上对GAMBIT2.4.6新功能的一个说明，主要就是增加了一个面的偏移功能，同时增强了小面的清理功能。附件是release note，更加详细地说明了GAMBIT2.4.6的新特征，包括CAD导入、几何体的布尔操作、网格划分等方面的改进。

刚才就该问题咨询了Fluent的中国公司，得到的回复是：
GAMBIT我们已经停止开发3年了，不建议在win7下使用。新的前处理模块为ANSYS meshing或ICEM CFD。

个人还是喜欢gambit！一个用习惯了，一个感觉一些复杂的结构也能划分！就是分块的时候稍微麻烦一些！
2.46版本在split时多了一些功能！
