Responsibilities:
l To develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company’s goals in key financial performance indicators.
l To continuously seek growth opportunities in new products and in business regions.
l To develop a strong sales team and implement best practices to give customer value-for-money services.
l To establish and maintain strong rapport with existing customers.
l To establish new customers and expand market shares in the region.
l To be responsible for training and implementation of ComEx to support GBS in China.
l To strive to be the first choice of supplier to any customers.
l To review, analyze and report sales performance periodically (monthly, quarterly) against set budget and recommend corrective action to improve performance in the ensuing period(s).
l To be part of the Management team and participate actively in business decisions to enhance the overall performance of the company.
l To work closely with production, logistic and support personnel in the company.
l Directly report to General Manager, China.
Specifications:
l The candidate should have tertiary education. Post graduate in General Management will be an advantage.
l Have good knowledge of business environment in China.
l Exhibit strong market analytical skills as well as business acumen.
l Have excellent interpersonal skills within and outside the organization – peers, customers, government, business associates, etc.
l Highly mobile – not afraid of intensive travel especially within China.
l A self-starter and dynamic
l Integrity, intelligent and proactive.
l Have leadership qualities to lead and motivate the sales team.
l Good knowledge in financial and accounting implications to product costing, relationship between volume, contribution and profitability of the company
l Should have at least 8 years’ sales & marketing management experience in industrial products, preferably from the metal / chemical industry.
l Demonstrated track record in opening and closing of business deals, contracts with local and global customers.
l Experience in managing and leading a sales team to achieve key sales performance indicators.
l Have excellent command of written and oral Chinese and English.
l Conversant in application of Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, ERP system (BPCS)
